The ANATS community is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Professor Richard Miller on Wednesday 5 May, 2009.
Richard was one of the most outstanding vocal pedagogues of the last 50 years and his books are much loved and used by all involved in singing teaching.
Richard's contribution to singing teaching is immeasurable and we are all aware of the extent of his influence in vocal pedagogy.
ANATS has written to Scott McCoy, in his capacity as President of NATS, to express our condolences to the singing community in the United States
Richard was an avid painter, gardener, and pianist, and vigorously pursued his work following his short retirement. He will be greatly missed by all of us. |
