The year 2008 heralds an exciting time for the WA Chapter. We not only have an array of interesting events planned for the state chapter alone, but we also shall host the National Voice Conference coinciding with the ANATS 20th Birthday celebration. We have been working hard to ensure this National Conference receives all the desired merriement and revelry called for such an auspicious occasion.

NOTE FOR NATIONAL CONFERENCE ATTENDEES

The conference is finally upon us and an excited committee is happy to express our warmest welcome. As many of you will be readying yourself for the conference this week the WA chapter would like to divulge that the forecast for Perth is cool weather with the possibility of showers and recommend that delegates pack a warm jacket and an umbrella.

Further updates will be made daily during conference proceedings.

NATIONAL CONFERENCE
The National Conference entitled “Sing into Spring” shall be held from Thursday 18th to Sunday 21st September. It will be held at the University Club of Western Australia and the internationally renowned Fraser’s Restaurant. The central locations for the conference have been chosen to provide the delegates with both the ease of travel and a magnificent view of Perth and the Swan River in the Springtime.

We are proud to announce our international guest presenter is Jeanette Lovetri. In the process of selecting our interstate and local presenters, our aim was to ensure a fair representation of each of the main vocal styles, Classical, Music Theatre and Contemporary.
