Working with Languages and Emotion: Classical Singing
This workshop will explore how to interpret and communicate emotion when singing, especially in foreign languages.
Linda Barcan will explore emotion in song texts in depth, for interpreting and communicating emotion when singing.
Anke Hoeppner-Ryan will explore how to teach singers to sing and interpret songs in foreign languages.
Eun Jung Byun will demonstrate and discuss how a vocal coach works with singers, on interpretation, musical matters and languages.
