ICVT 2013 was an amazing congress that was hosted by ANATS in Brisbane. We are grateful to the organizing committee of Geoffrey Ashenden, Irene Bartlett, Tracy Bourne, Shaun Brown, Jean Callaghan, Kathleen Connell, Rowena Cowley (Chair until end of 2012), Scott Harrison, Diane Hughes Adele Nisbet (Congress Chair) and Daniel Robinson for organising an extensive program. The program consisted of four days of plenary & concurrent sessions, including keynote presentations from international and national speakers, masterclasses with students and keynote speakers, over a hundred paper presentations, over twenty poster presentations, seven table displays, lunchtime concerts and additional activities including a Welcome Reception, a performance of Cinderella (Opera Queensland), an Aussie BBQ Lunch, and a Take 6 Vocal Workshop and Opening Concert of the Queensland Music Festival.
