Are you a Singer/Performer who would like to add Singing Teacher to your skill set? Have you been teaching singing for less than 5 years and would like to improve your skills? Come join our supportive, informative, and practical Early Career Teaching Sessions. Meet other voice teachers, starting their teaching journeys and ask questions of our experienced teachers.

Starting Out: Teaching Young Voices

Sunday 25th Feb, 2024 11.00am – 1.00pm

at the Green Square Library Music Room, Zetland

Come join our Early Career Teaching Workshop where we will be discussing how to begin teaching singing to children, adolescents, and young adults. Topics will include:

  • Basic anatomy and growth of young voices male & female

  • Performance anxiety strategies

  • Structuring a lesson for young students

  • Repertoire and Warm up ideas

This event is aimed at mentoring singing teachers with less than 5 years teaching experience andbuilding an inclusive community of early career singing teachers.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF ANATS TO ATTEND!

Our ECT sessions run three times per year and are FREE for your first session and only $20 for following events. 

Attendees will also receive a discount to our next ANATS NSW event (open to teachers of all experience levels):
