Past Event Review: A Masterclass with Mary King

March 2016

“. . . it is always heartening to find validation of our own teaching methods when watching someone so experienced and knowledgeable. . . At all times we were entertained – both by the young participants and Mary herself, who wonderfully blends humour with straight talk and encouragement and was equally at home in both Music Theatre and Western Art Music genres.”

Kate Williams, teacher

”I wouldn’t hesitate to perform before Mary King again because the invaluable criticism espoused there surmounts anxiety . . . I concluded the afternoon having a realistic comprehension of my abilities and greater focus for practice exercises.”

Keaton Staszewski-Hose, student & Masterclass participant, age 18
