SACE the Music

G'day dear members and friends of ANATS,

We've survived the bike race, the car race, the horse race, a bunch of people running to Glenelg for obscure reasons, WOMAD, the Festival and its Fringe.

It's time to give you early notice of our first ANATS event for the year, "SACE the Music" - DOWNLOAD the attached e-flyer HERE

It's a friendly, non-competitive performance opportunity for any singing students in Year 12 who are facing the SACE exam this year. OK, it's just like a concert... except that each participant will be given a written evaluation of their work at the end of the afternoon. There will be no public assessment of their performances. It's simply a great chance to get used to performing as much of your SACE programme as you feel like doing, in front of people you don't know, and without the added pressure of an examination.

When - 1:00pm - 4:30pm; Sunday, 28th May, 2017

Where - Pulteney Grammar School Drama Theatrette, Ground Floor, Performing Arts Building, corner of Giles Street & Osmond Street, Adelaide CBD. (It's to the rear north-west of the Pulteney campus.)

Cost - Audience $5 (children 14 years old and under, free)

Participants - $15 each

An additional feature will be a commencement talk given by Mr Darryl Pope (Director of Music, Pembroke College), who works closely with the SACE Board of SA in the design and assessment of music subjects in SA.

If any of your students would like to participate in the event, as a way of performing their SACE material well before the final examination time, please contact :

Ms Kim Spargo - kimspargo@adam.com.au / 0412 530 198)

Kim will give you more information about the event, and book your student into the programme.

Looking forward to seeing you there

Cheers,

Pat Wilson
