At ANATS, we’re always looking for ways to add value to your membership. We’re excited to introduce a new, exclusive benefit for members: The SIG Series.

Our Special Interest Groups (SIGs) have been a highlight at recent conferences, offering meaningful opportunities to connect and share ideas. Now, you won’t have to wait for conferences to continue those conversations.
What are SIGs?
SIGs are groups where members with shared interests come together for focussed and facilitated discussion. Our SIGs include:
Musical Theatre
Contemporary Voice
Classical Voice
Young Voice
Research
Independent Teaching Studio
What is The SIG Series?
The SIG Series offers 1-2 online meet ups per year for each SIG. Each session is facilitated by an industry member and explores topics such as pedagogy, industry insights, repertoire, and more. It’s a space to learn, connect, and engage with colleagues across the community.
This is a free and exclusive benefit for ANATS members, designed to support ongoing connection and professional growth.
How to stay informed
Upcoming meet ups will be shared on our website and via email, so keep an eye on your inbox!
This first SIG meetup is a 1- hour discussion run by Trevor Jones and Henry Kafoa about musical theatre.
Time: 3pm AEDT (2:30pm Adelaide, 2pm Brisbane, 1:30pm Darwin, 12pm Perth
This interest group is a fantastic way to connect with other musical theatre singing teachers around Australia to share resources, experiences and ideas. At this first meeting, we’d love to hear what some of your favourite resources are for teaching musical theatre singing (pedagogy books, videos, online resources etc). Bring any questions you may have about musical theatre singing teaching and we can have some open discussions to further the conversations from last year’s national conference. I am looking forward to seeing you there!" - Trevor Jones
