In the spirit of reconciliation, ANATS acknowledges the traditional custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We celebrate the rich history of over 60,000 years of continuing culture and storytelling on these lands.
Who we are
Our membership includes professionals from all facets of the vocal arts - singing teachers, singers and researchers from all styles of music, as well as voice practitioners such as physiotherapists and speech and language therapists.
The Australian National Association of the Teachers of Singing Ltd (ANATS) provides support to its members and to the general community by hosting professional development events at a national, state and local level, providing bursary support and promoting research.
At ANATS we are passionate about creating and maintaining an inclusive singing community. We promote and value equality and diversity across age, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious belief and disability. We are committed to representing, connecting, educating and supporting all singing teachers, vocal coaches and singers.
